Even though I'm gonna miss you all, but moving to another country means less-to-no computer time. So it's pointless to create 7-8 new journals (the 8th being Toshi, whom I had on the reserve list) when I'm gonna have to drop them again in about a month for God knows how long.

Right, since la_ballerine has already mentioned migrating, I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of a few things:
x If you have any running RPs, you of course are free to finish them right here on GJ, but it would be appreciated if you do all future RPing over on IJ now, or as soon as possible.
x Also, we would love it if people could reply to this post to see if they are coming with us on this move or not, just to make it easier on us mods-- we'll be moving the claims list and the friending button, too, so it'd be easier to know who to keep and who to delete.
x Because GJ has claimed that the original journals will stay as is, muses that still wish to RP here on GJ but will not be moving with us will be free to do so even after we close this comm, just that you can only RP on each others' journals.
... Okay I think that's it? We hope to see you all in the asylum? xDDDDD (Asylum is what they call a community over there, kids.)

Well, we've all given GJ a chance and stuck with it long enough but as mod, I would rather not wait until there's nothing left of this site but a 404 message.
As much as we all loved GJ and the features they had, some things have to come to an end. I'm moving this comm in two weeks at the very latest or by the end of next week at the earliest. So please make sure that your journals are backed up since OTS will be moving to
Insanejournal as the majority has voted (through comments and through private IMs with me). Granted the interface isn't exactly nice on the eyes and we'll have to relearn a few things, but as long as we finally have a place where we can properly RP without icons getting eaten or journal posts refusing to be edited, then I'm for it.
Don't forget, do a username search if you want to retain your muses' usernames. If you're to create a new username, please notify me about it so I can archive your claim post with your usernames.
I'm going to archive claim posts over at the new comm for you guys to check so just be patient. ^_^

To cut a long story short (and because reading the news just disappointed me), GJ has decided:
To disable the "create a journal" feature. This is due to an overload in their servers. I do NOT know when this will be fixed. But minna, hang on to your hats and just in case, back up what RP posts you want to back up and all that lovely jazz.
Icons are now down to a mere 10. Though my icons in some of my older journals still seem to be working fine. This is supposedly temporary as well. I certainly hope so.
GJ has announced that the influx of new users has overwhelmed the servers so they're telling everybody to move to InsaneJournal.

OTS IS NOT MOVING ANYWHERE. I am looking for back-up websites just to be on the safe side but I am also keeping my fingers crossed that this will be resolved soon enough.
Of course, nobody will be able to claim new muses. If you have any new muses, what I can suggest is just for you guys to keep a copy of your claim post for your new muse and once GJ is fine again, I'll let you guys know that you can claim again. For now, just go and have fun with the RPs you're playing.
